I started tutoring when I was in high school in uptown Manhattan. I went to a small private school where my English teacher spent a lot of time teaching us the rules of grammar. My classmates were frustrated, but I loved it! At graduation I was valedictorian of my class and somehow managed to speak in front of a large audience. Not the easiest thing for me!
